Free Scan Viewer terms

The agreement you accept before you open a scan in the viewer.

This page is a working draft dated 14 October 2026. It describes how the viewer works today and will be replaced by wording reviewed by our lawyers.

The viewer is a free tool offered by Gagua, 1201 North Pacific Ave #204, Glendale, California 91202 (“HiDental”, “we”). By choosing “Agree and continue” you accept these terms.

What the viewer does

  • It lets you look at a dental or CT scan file on your own device, in slices and in 3D, and make measurements on it.
  • It is for viewing and for preparing for a visit. It is not a medical device and not a substitute for a diagnosis.

Your scan stays with you

  • The scan is opened and processed only inside your browser, on your device. We do not receive, upload, transmit, copy or store your scan, its pictures, or the measurements and notes you make.
  • The viewer page carries a browser security rule that forbids it from making outgoing connections. It has no account, and no names or details from inside your scan are read or shown beyond what you see on screen.
  • Your agreement is remembered only in the browser tab you are using, and is forgotten when you close it.
  • Pictures you save go to your own device. What you do with them afterwards is up to you.
  • The rest of the site is covered by our Privacy page.

What it is not

  • It gives no diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice, and nothing you see in it should be taken as one.
  • Measurements and values depend on the information stored in your file and can be wrong. Do not use them to plan treatment, choose an implant, or make any clinical decision. Your dentist or doctor uses their own certified software for that.
  • It is not for emergencies. If you need urgent care, contact your dentist, your doctor or the emergency services.

Your part

  • Open only scans that are yours, or that you have permission to see.
  • Do not use the viewer for anything unlawful, and do not try to break or overload it.

No promise, and limits

  • The viewer is provided free and “as is”. We do not promise it will open every file, be free of mistakes, or always be available.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or harm that comes from using the viewer or relying on what it shows.

Changes and contact

We may change these terms; when we do, you will be asked to agree again. Questions: [email protected].
